From the Kingdom universe, this Banpresto figurine depicts Shin, the series’ protagonist and commander of the Hi Shin unit. Part of the Vibration Stars range, it stands approximately 14 cm tall and features a particularly dynamic pose, characteristic of this collection dedicated to characters captured in mid-action.
Shin is depicted in a low, offensive fighting stance, with his legs spread wide apart to convey a sense of momentum and stability. He brandishes his sword, whilst his face – with his mouth open and eyebrows furrowed – conveys the full intensity of his presence on the battlefield. His short, slightly tousled black hair complements the sculpture’s movement.
The figurine also features his military gear, comprising blue plate armour, matching shoulder and forearm guards, a wide belt and a light grey tunic beneath the armour. Additional equipment is strapped to his back. The signs of wear and tear and the various textures of the outfit reinforce the appearance of a warrior accustomed to military campaigns.
Fully pre-painted and non-articulated, this figurine is made from PVC, with some retailers also noting that ABS is used in its manufacture. Its relatively compact size makes it easy to display whilst retaining the sense of movement sought by the Vibration Stars range.

Shin is the protagonist of Kingdom. Born into humble circumstances and raised as a servant, he has shared a particularly ambitious dream with his friend Hyou since childhood: to one day become one of the greatest generals under the heavens. His encounter with Ei Sei, the future first emperor of China, profoundly transforms his destiny as he fights alongside him in the struggle to reclaim the throne of Qin. The anime’s official website highlights the bond of trust that develops between the two young men.
Shin then joins the Qin army and gradually builds up a record of military exploits. His courage, endurance and exceptional intuition on the battlefield enable him to rise through the military ranks despite his initial lack of training or social standing. In particular, he develops the qualities of an instinctive commander, capable of sensing how a battle is unfolding and taking direct action at the heart of the fighting.
His unit is named the Hi Shin Unit / Hi Shin Tai by the great General Ouki, whom Shin regards as one of his main role models. Following Ouki’s death, this name becomes an essential part of his military identity. Shin leads his men from the front line himself, which goes a great deal towards fostering his soldiers’ loyalty to him.
His rise to prominence runs parallel to that of two other young Qin commanders: Mouten of the Gaku Ka unit and Ouhon of the Gyoku Hou unit. All three are quickly regarded as rivals destined to play a major role in the future unification campaigns led by Ei Sei. Despite this competition, Shin remains steadfast in the goal he has held since childhood: to become a Great General Under Heaven and to inscribe his name amongst the greatest military leaders of his era.
This Vibration Stars figurine captures precisely this aspect of the character: rather than a ceremonial commander’s pose, it depicts Shin as he most often appears on the battlefield – at the forefront of his men, sword in hand and fully engaged in the fray.
