Take a bird’s-eye view and rediscover the town of Koriko with this 950-piece panoramic jigsaw puzzle inspired by *Kiki’s Delivery Service*. Its particularly elongated format showcases a sweeping aerial view of the port town where the young witch begins her new life. Once completed, the jigsaw measures approximately 102 × 34 cm and can be framed to create a large wall decoration dedicated to Studio Ghibli.
The illustration depicts Koriko from the sky, with its many neighbourhoods, colourful rooftops, green spaces, harbour and the bridges connecting the different parts of the town. The blue sea surrounds this luminous city, inspired by several European towns, creating a composition rich in small details to admire whilst assembling the puzzle.
Kiki appears in the foreground, recognisable by her dark dress, her large red bow and her broom. Seated high up facing the panorama, she seems to be gazing out over the town she has chosen to complete her training as a witch. Her silhouette provides an instantly recognisable focal point amidst this highly detailed urban scene.
With its 950 pieces and panoramic format, this jigsaw puzzle offers a greater challenge than a standard model, whilst producing an illustration particularly well-suited to display. It makes for an enjoyable activity for both jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts and fans of Hayao Miyazaki’s world.
Kiki’s Delivery Service follows a 13-year-old witch who must leave her family for a year to continue her training on her own. Accompanied by her black cat, Jiji, Kiki settles in the port town of Koriko and sets up a delivery service using her flying broomstick.
Koriko becomes the main setting for her journey towards independence. There, Kiki meets Osono, who welcomes her into her bakery, as well as Tombo, a boy with a passion for aviation. Through her deliveries and the people she meets, she learns to find her place within a community, to overcome her doubts and to build her own self-confidence.
The fictional town blends European architecture, bustling streets, trams and a vast seaport. Its warm and detailed character makes it one of Studio Ghibli’s most memorable settings, perfectly showcased by this jigsaw’s panoramic format.
