Origin and character lore
In the Jujutsu Kaisen universe, Yuta Okkotsu first appears in the prologue Jujutsu Kaisen 0 as a teenager haunted by the all-powerful, vengeful spirit of his childhood friend, Rika Orimoto, who died in a tragic road accident. Possessing a phenomenal amount of cursed energy, surpassing even that of his mentor Satoru Gojo, he is initially sentenced to death by the high magical authorities before joining the Tokyo Exorcism School to learn how to channel this power. A descendant of the Sugawara clan, he possesses the exceptional ability to instantly mimic the fighting techniques of both his allies and his opponents. Having become a seasoned fighter following rigorous training abroad, Yuta stands as one of the main pillars of the exorcism world, ready to face the terrible threat posed by Suguru Geto and, later, the occult entity Kenjaku. This figurine celebrates the courage and heroic rise of this big-hearted mage.
