Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Original Periwinkle is a clown figure introduced in the prequel series IT: Welcometo Derry. In the dark mythology created by Stephen King, the evil entity inseparable from the city is not limited to his modern appearance as Grippe-Sou. It adopts multiple avatars of acrobats through the ages to lure its prey and feed on their deepest terrors. This character explores the monster's early and past manifestations in Maine, reminding us that behind every smile and burst of laughter lies the age-old menace that haunts the sewers and the community's history.
