Origin and background of the character
Created in 2011, Hunter x Hunter is a leading Japanese anime series, a reboot of the 1999 adaptation based on the manga by Yoshihiro Togashi. The series follows the journey of Gon Freecss, a young boy determined to pass the gruelling ‘Hunter Exam’ to follow in the footsteps of his father, Ging, a legendary elite Hunter.
At the head of this organisation stands Isaac Netero, the 12th President of the Hunters’ Association. Beneath the guise of an eccentric, playful old man lies one of the world’s most powerful users of Nen, capable of summoning the terrifying Hundred-Form Guanyin Bodhisattva. His absolute dedication to combat, his mischievous wisdom and his epic clash with the King of the Chimera Ants, Meruem, make him an iconic figure in pop culture.
This vinyl figurine faithfully recreates his striking visual identity: his long, traditional white beard, his thick eyebrows, his earlobes stretched by piercings, and his training outfit. A perfect choice to join the ranks of the elite fighters in your Shonen collection alongside Gon, Killua, Kurapika and Hisoka.
