Part of the Character Vocal Series 01: Hatsune Miku, this Good Smile Company figurine depicts Sakura Miku in a design directly adapted from the fusuma illustration, which won the grand prize at the fourth Hatsune Miku × GSC Illustration Contest dedicated to the character. Part of the G.S. Collection range, this 1/7 scale figure measures approximately 26 cm in height including its base.
The sculpture aims to capture the light and ephemeral atmosphere of the original illustration. Sakura Miku is depicted in her official pink and white outfit, with her long pink pigtails flowing in time with the composition’s movement. Her skirt and tie appear to be swept up by the wind, whilst several floating balloons complete the scene. Her gentle and slightly melancholic expression is also one of the key visual features of this version.
Good Smile Company has used translucent elements for the hair and balloons, lending the whole piece a greater sense of lightness. The manufacturer has also applied varying degrees of gloss to different parts of the figurine to distinguish between materials and accentuate the depth of the finish. The ethereal pose, the movement of the long strands of hair and the pastel colour scheme thus particularly highlight the spring theme associated with Sakura Miku.
Fully pre-painted and non-articulated, the figurine comes with its own dedicated base. With its 1/7 scale and height of 26 cm, it is a display piece designed for collections dedicated to Hatsune Miku, Piapro Characters and Good Smile Company’s high-end figurines.

Sakura Miku is a spring-themed variation of Hatsune Miku, whose design draws direct inspiration from the cherry blossom season. Crypton Future Media officially describes her as a spring-coloured Hatsune Miku, notably combining sakura and cherry motifs. An official main visual illustrated by KEI was adopted in 2019, which has since helped to establish Sakura Miku as a seasonal identity in her own right.
She retains Hatsune Miku’s key visual characteristics — in particular her long pigtails — but replaces her traditional turquoise colour scheme with shades of pink and white reminiscent of cherry blossoms. Sakura Miku regularly appears in illustrations, merchandise and collaborations centred around the Japanese spring, particularly in connection with events linked to the sakura blossom season.
However, this figurine does not simply replicate the standard official design of Sakura Miku. It is directly based on the fusuma artwork, which was selected as the Grand Prix winner of the fourth Hatsune Miku × GSC Illustration Contest. Good Smile Company has sought to capture the fleeting nature of this illustration in three dimensions, emphasising the movement of her clothes and hair, the floating balloons and Miku’s gaze. This artistic origin is the key distinguishing feature of this GSC Illustration Contest Ver. edition.
