Figurine Funko POP! Movies No. 16 - Harry Potter - Sirius Black
This vinyl figure represents the escapee from Azkaban Sirius Black, the iconic godfather of the young wizard Harry Potter, from the worldwide literary and cinematic saga Harry Potter.
The model incorporates the stylistic features of the Funko POP! range, combining an oversized head with a reduced body. This collector's statuette is number 16 in the original collection dedicated to the magical world of J.K. Rowling. It perfectly recreates the wizard's neglected and scarred appearance after his long years in prison. It shows off his tousled, medium-length brown hair and his characteristic thin beard to best effect. The figure is shown wearing his Azkaban prisoner's suit, horizontally striped with white and grey stripes. Reflecting the photographs in the wanted notice issued by the Ministry of Magic, the figurine shows him holding the metal number plate of the magical prison firmly in front of his chest. The figurine adopts a fixed posture for display on a flat surface.
Designed primarily for display on a shelf, on a desk or in a shop window, this classic collector's item comes in its original cardboard window box packaging, so you can admire the member of the Order of the Phoenix in a dust-free environment.

Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Born into the proud pureblood line of the Black family, Sirius Black rejected his family's supremacist ideals at an early age to join Gryffindor House at Hogwarts. He became James Potter's best friend and a member of the Marauders, and was appointed Harry's godfather. The victim of a terrible plot orchestrated by the traitor Peter Pettigrow when Lord Voldemort fell, he was falsely accused of murdering his friends and sent without trial to the fortress of Azkaban. After twelve years in solitary confinement, his ability to metamorphose into a large black dog (Animagus) enabled him to evade the vigilance of the Destroyers and escape. Driven by a desire to protect his godson and set the record straight, he joined the resistance, making his family home at 12 Square Grimmaurd available to the Order of the Phoenix.
