Origin and character’s universe
The OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon is a legendary mobile suit from the cult Japanese animated series *Mobile Suit Gundam Wing*, released in 1995. Designed by Treize Khushrenada, the leader of the OZ faction, this unique mecha breaks with tradition by completely dispensing with ranged weapons to focus exclusively on close-quarters combat, armed with its formidable high-poweredbeam sword and segmentedheat rod. Just like its rival, the Wing Zero, the Epyon incorporates its own modified version of the ‘ZERO System’, a neural interface that dictates the ultimate combat strategy to its pilot at the expense of their mental health. Piloted in turn by Heero Yuy and the enigmatic Zechs Merquise, this scarlet-coloured mobile suit, capable of transforming into a fearsome flying two-headed dragon mode, symbolises the chivalric ideal and the raw fury of space duels in their purest form.
