Beneath its white armour lies a fully integrated internal skeleton (Inner Frame) of fascinating complexity, reinforced by metal joints and functional chrome-plated hydraulic cylinders that extend as the limbs move. Numerous movable armour panels (Hatch Open) are designed to open at the legs, arms and torso to reveal the internal generators and hidden circuits. The energy conduits and cables located behind the knees are faithfully reproduced using braided fabric tubes and real copper wires included in the box. The kit features a spherical panoramic cockpit that opens to reveal a mini-figure of the pilot at the controls, complete with an LED unit that illuminates the Gundam’s eyes with a piercing yellow glow.
