Plex has released the iconic Goldorak as part of the Gravity Zero range, in the form of an articulated figure measuring approximately 10.5 cm. Despite its compact size, the model faithfully reproduces the characteristic proportions of the robot from the original series, with its large golden horns, red V-shaped chest plate, black shoulders, red, white and blue forearms, and imposing metallic blue legs. The figure is made from PVC and ABS.
The articulated design allows Goldorak to be displayed in various combat poses. Official images show the robot in full flight, delivering a kick or using its weapons, with multiple points of articulation at the shoulders, elbows, hips and legs. A black base bearing the Gravity Zero logo makes it easier to stage more dynamic poses.
The finish combines gloss black, silver, red, white and metallic blue to recreate the robot’s classic appearance. The 10.5 cm size makes this Gravity Zero version particularly well-suited for display on a shelf or in a display cabinet, whilst retaining a level of detail that allows for varied display scenarios.

Character background and universe (Lore)
Goldorak, known in Japan as Grendizer, is the main robot in the series *UFO Robot Grendizer*, set in the universe created by Go Nagai. The original television series was broadcast in Japan between October 1975 and February 1977 and comprised 74 episodes. It subsequently became a major phenomenon in Europe, particularly in France, where Goldorak established itself as one of the most iconic Japanese robots of its generation.
Goldorak hails from the planet Fleed. When Fleed was attacked by the forces of Vega, Prince Duke Fleed managed to escape aboard the powerful robot and eventually reached Earth. There, he takes on the identity of Actarus – or Daisuke Umon in the Japanese version – and lives with Professor Procyon until the forces of Vega in turn threaten the planet. He then takes the controls of Goldorak once more to defend Earth alongside Alcor, the former pilot of Mazinger Z.
The robot has a vast arsenal, including its Fulguro Fists, Astero Axes and various energy attacks. His Spazer is an essential part of his equipment: this flying saucer enables Goldorak to travel through space and quickly reach combat zones before the robot detaches from it to face the Golgoths and other machines of the Vega army.
