Origin and background of the character
Tiger Woods is undoubtedly one of the most famous and influential athletes in modern history, having revolutionised the world of professional golf from the late 1990s onwards. Known for his extraordinary mental strength and surgical precision, he has amassed a staggering list of achievements, including multiple victories at the Masters in Augusta, the US Open and the British Open. The red outfit depicted on this figurine is directly linked to his legendary Sunday tradition: during the final round of every major tournament, Woods wears a bright red polo shirt, a colour originally chosen on his mother’s advice to project power and intimidate his opponents. This sartorial choice has become the timeless symbol of his greatest victories and his absolute dominance on the PGA Tour.
