Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Released in 2023 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Toho studio franchise, the Godzilla Minus One film reinstates the famous Kaijū in the devastated Japan of the immediate post-war period. Mutated and enlarged by radiation from the nuclear tests of Operation Crossroads, the creature is presented as an uncontrollable destructive threat. The designation "Heat Ray" refers directly to the high-temperature heat ray that the monster projects. Before each shot, its dorsal plates unfurl and become charged with intense luminous energy before releasing an atomic shockwave. This Premium-format figure immortalises the precise moment when Godzilla is about to unleash his signature attack.
