This Hasbro G.I. Joe Classified Series No. 232 action figure depicts Dreadnok Flatline, a new character introduced into the G.I. Joe universe as the Dreadnoks’ clandestine doctor. Measuring approximately 15 cm, it features detailed sculpting, numerous points of articulation and seven accessories directly inspired by his rather dubious medical activities. Flatline officially joins the Classified Series with a brand-new design created specifically for this range.
Flatline’s appearance is a cross between a makeshift doctor, a mechanic and a post-apocalyptic fighter. His head is covered by a green and red hood, paired with a breathing mask, asymmetrical goggles and various mechanical elements. His outfit combines black tactical gear, green and turquoise protective armour, bare arms and numerous tools strapped to his belt. Several humorous inscriptions complete his look, notably the words ‘Millville Veterinary Clinic’, a direct reference to his work as a vet.
One of the character’s most distinctive features is his medical equipment, repurposed as a weaponry arsenal. Notably, Flatline possesses an imposing bone saw dubbed ‘Chin Chopper’ and a defibrillator hammer named ‘The Clinker’. A back-mounted generator connected by a power cable completes the set, alongside a medical manual and a conventional weapon. The deliberately over-the-top aesthetic of these accessories perfectly matches the anarchic nature of the Dreadnoks.
Like the other Classified Series figures, Flatline features multiple points of articulation, allowing for a variety of poses for display, photography or dioramas. The window box is numbered 232 and features the figure with his equipment, character sheet icons and an original illustration.

Character background and universe (Lore)
Flatline is an entirely new character introduced by Hasbro into the G.I. Joe universe as part of the Classified Series. His real name is Dr Thomas Tinker. Before joining the Dreadnoks, he ran a veterinary clinic in Millville, New York, but financial difficulties at his practice led him to offer his medical services to the gang on the sly.
The Dreadnoks quickly found common ground with this practitioner, whose methods were particularly unconventional. Flatline notably claims that grape fizzy drink possesses antiseptic properties – a theory absurd enough to fit perfectly within the world of this band of mercenaries. Even his new allies do not seem entirely certain that he actually holds a licence to practise as a doctor, vet or healthcare professional.
His equipment is a direct reflection of this improvised approach to medicine. The ‘Chin Chopper’ transforms a medical saw into a particularly menacing tool, whilst ‘The Clinker’ repurposes the principle of a defibrillator into a heavy hammer. His back-mounted generator and power cable further reinforce this aesthetic of hand-assembled and modified equipment.
The Dreadnoks are traditionally a gang of bikers and mercenaries associated with the Cobra forces. Flatline therefore completes their team with a role that has been under-represented until now: that of a field medic capable of patching up his comrades after battles, even if his knowledge and methods remain highly questionable. This Classified Series No. 232 thus marks Flatline’s first official appearance as a figurine and his entry into the G.I. Joe universe.
