GHOST IN THE SHELL - Fuchikoma - Figure Robot Spirits 15cm

Ghost in the Shell — Fuchikoma Articulated Figure, Robot Spirits, 15 cm

Add one of Section 9’s most iconic vehicles to your collection with this articulated Fuchikoma figure from Bandai Tamashii Nations’ Robot Spirits range. Inspired by the animated series Ghost in the Shell: The Ghost in the Shell, this reproduction combines a silhouette faithful to the anime’s new design with an articulated structure that allows you to recreate a wide range of expressive poses.

The Fuchikoma is characterised by its rounded bodywork, four long articulated legs and numerous mechanical features. The sculpt accurately reproduces the main and secondary cameras, the various frames, the front-mounted arms and the openings around the hull. Its joints allow it to adopt combat poses as well as deliberately relaxed or humorous postures.

Several interchangeable parts allow you to change its expression. The set includes three alternative faces, arm parts, a camera lens marked with a cross, and a replacement frame. These accessories highlight the Fuchikoma’s lively and endearing personality, capable of shifting from a serious demeanour to a broad smile or an exhausted expression.

The rear cockpit hatch can be opened to accommodate the S.H.Figuarts Motoko Kusanagi figure, sold separately. This compatibility allows you to recreate scenes in which the Major pilots the vehicle directly. An auxiliary support is also provided to stabilise the figure despite its weight; when not in use, its attachment point can be concealed by a cover matching the bodywork.

Made from ABS and PVC, the Fuchikoma stands approximately 15 cm tall. Its wide range of expressions, functional cockpit and multiple articulation points make it ideal for both display and creating scenes with other characters in the range.

Vehicle background and universe (Lore)

The Fuchikoma is a sentient tank equipped with artificial intelligence, used by members of the unit led by Motoko Kusanagi. It can accommodate a pilot in its cockpit, but can also operate autonomously to assist Section 9 during its operations.

Despite its military function, the Fuchikoma has a surprisingly cheerful and expressive personality. Its curious behaviour and sometimes childlike reactions contrast with its armament, tactical capabilities and the dangerous missions in which it takes part. This duality explains the inclusion of numerous interchangeable faces with this figurine.

The vehicle is notably equipped with thermo-optical camouflage and cable launchers, which enable it to conceal itself, navigate complex environments and support team members in the field. Its long, articulated legs give it the mobility required for urban areas and operations demanding greater agility than a traditional armoured vehicle.

In *Ghost in the Shell: The Ghost in the Shell*, the Fuchikoma accompany the future Section 9 on its investigations into cyberterrorism, computer networks and artificial intelligence. Their autonomy also raises some of the franchise’s central questions: can a machine capable of learning, experiencing curiosity and developing a personality possess a consciousness comparable to a human being’s ‘ghost’?
