Origin and character’s universe
Directly inspired by the famous satirical sci-fi animated television series created by Matt Groening, this figure depicts the highly arrogant and incompetent Captain Zapp Brannigan. Wrongly revered as a military hero by the Democratic Order of the Planets (DOOP) aboard his flagship the Nimbus, this narcissistic commander is notable for his cowardice, his disastrous strategies and his obsession with seducing the cyclops Leela. Flanked by his loyal but disillusioned lieutenant Kif Kroker, he stands out as one of the most memorable comic figures in animated pop culture. This Funko Pop! figure captures with great graphic fidelity his very short retro-futuristic red velvet uniform, his impeccable blond hair and his posture brimming with misplaced confidence. A prime piece to add a touch of humour and depth to your display cabinet.
