FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S - POP Games N° 1320 - Toy Chica

This Funko POP! Games figure (No. 1320) depicts Toy Chica, one of the animatronics introduced in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. This updated version of Chica has been adapted to the distinctive style of the POP! range, whilst retaining her yellow colour, pink cheeks, orange beak and her famous ‘LET’S PARTY!’ bib.

Toy Chica is depicted in her stage outfit, with her beak in place and a smiling expression. Her head is topped with three small yellow feathers, whilst her large black eyes are accentuated by long eyelashes. She is also holding Mr Cupcake, the little pink cupcake associated with the character, recognisable by his eyes and candle.

The figurine measures approximately 11.9 cm in height and is posed facing forwards, highlighting the character’s key visual features. It is presented in the traditional Funko POP! Games window box, bearing the Five Nights at Freddy’s logo, the number 1320 and the name Toy Chica.

Character background and lore

Toy Chica appears in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, the second main game in the series created by Scott Cawthon. She belongs to the new generation of animatronics installed at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza in 1987 alongside Toy Freddy and Toy Bonnie.

The animatronics in the Toy range are designed as modernised versions of the restaurant’s older characters. Their appearance is smoother, more colourful and more welcoming, and they feature more advanced safety technologies than the older models.

Toy Chica retains the general concept of Chica in the form of a yellow animatronic resembling a hen. She is particularly distinguished by her pink cheeks, long eyelashes, her ‘LET’S PARTY!’ bib and her much more colourful appearance.

During the night-time sequences in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, her appearance becomes significantly more unsettling. After leaving the stage, Toy Chica removes her beak and her eyes take on a dark appearance, revealing more of the animatronic structure hidden behind her public façade.

Like the other Toy animatronics, she gradually moves around the restaurant during the night and can reach the caretaker’s office. The player must then use Freddy’s mask to try to fool her recognition system.

This POP! Games No. 1320 depicts Toy Chica in her on-stage appearance, complete with her beak, colourful bib and Mr Cupcake, before her more unsettling visual transformation during the night-time phases.
