Straight from the ‘Rebuild of Evangelion’ film universe, this meticulously detailed model depicts the Evangelion Unit-08? (Unit-08a) piloted by the mysterious and charismatic Mari Illustrious Makinami. Originally designed to provide long-range tactical support and heavy cover during the WILLE organisation’s planned assaults, this mecha stands out for its slender silhouette, its multiple optical sensors aligned on the helmet, and its protective armour in contrasting shades of pink. Its avant-garde design perfectly blends the organic grace of humanoid creatures with the mechanical rigidity of futuristic combat armour.
Bandai’s signature build quality is evident in the pre-coloured, direct-injection-moulded plastic sprues, ensuring a crisp visual finish without the need for painting once assembly is complete. Thanks to the technological innovations of the Real Grade range, this kit features an internal articulated skeleton of rare complexity, brilliantly modelling the natural curvature of the spine and the extension of the mechanical humanoid’s back muscles during firing poses. Equipped with its formidable arsenal of ranged weapons and boasting spectacular freedom of movement, this must-have piece will instantly elevate the aesthetic standard of any Gunpla or science fiction model collection.
