HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON - Dragon Trainer - Hooded Sweat (XXL)

This officially licensed Dragons hoodie features a design directly inspired by the world of the animated series and its iconic dragon, Toothless. Manufactured by Cotton Division, it combines a black base with a large green graphic on the front.

The front design displays the words ‘DRAGON TRAINER’ in various shades of green. Beneath the lettering are two large green eyes and part of the dragon’s dark facial texture, immediately evoking Toothless and his distinctive appearance. The contrast between the garment’s black colour and the green hues of the design gives the piece a understated look whilst remaining easily recognisable to fans of the franchise.

The sweatshirt features a classic cut with long sleeves, a drawstring-adjustable hood and a large kangaroo pocket on the front. Its design, which focuses entirely on the front, means it can be easily incorporated into a casual outfit whilst clearly showing its connection to the Dragons universe.

Origin and character lore

Dragons, known internationally as How to Train Your Dragon, is set mainly on the Viking island of Berk, where humans and dragons initially have a conflictual relationship. The story follows Hiccup, a young Viking who does not live up to his clan’s expectations of a warrior and who gradually begins to question the way his people view dragons.

His encounter with Toothless, a particularly rare Night Fury, marks the beginning of a deep friendship. After discovering that dragons are not necessarily the dangerous creatures described in Viking lore, Hiccup learns to understand Toothless and eventually wins his trust.

Toothless is particularly distinguished by his black body, his large green eyes and his highly developed intelligence. Agile, swift and capable of forming a very strong bond with Harold, he becomes one of the central characters in the saga. The design on this jumper captures precisely one of his most recognisable features: his green eyes contrasting with his dark scales.
