Bandai S.H. Figuarts Action Figure — Dragon Ball Z — Super Saiyan Son Goku 14cm
This high-end articulated action figure from Bandai Tamashii Nations’ prestigious S.H. Figuarts range depicts the legendary warrior in his most memorable form: Son Goku as a Super Saiyan (The Awakened One).
The figure stands approximately 14 cm tall, perfectly suited to the collection’s scale for display alongside other warriors from the universe. Featuring a brand-new sculpted mould and joint engineering that has been significantly upgraded by the manufacturer, this figure offers enhanced yet discreet articulation. This design allows you to recreate the saga’s most memorable dynamic fighting poses without compromising the hero’s muscular silhouette. The PVC plastic sculpture faithfully recreates his golden hair standing on end with energy, his orange combat dogi torn from battle, and the tense lines of his face. To expand the range of display options, the set includes three interchangeable faces with alternative expressions, as well as special translucent effect parts to simulate the build-up and launch of his legendary attack, the Kamehameha.
This collectable is primarily aimed at fans of Akira Toriyama’s work, enthusiasts of high-end action figures, and collectors keen to immortalise the golden age of Dragon Ball Z. The item is presented in its original protective display box.

Origin and background of the transformation (Lore)
Son Goku’s transformation into a Super Saiyan represents one of the most iconic and defining turning points in the history of shōnen manga. This event takes place on the dying planet Namek, at the climax of a titanic clash against the galactic tyrant Frieza. A helpless witness to the brutal execution of his best friend Krillin by the alien dictator, Goku is overwhelmed by pure, uncontrollable rage. This fury shatters his psychological and physical barriers, unleashing the dormant genetic potential of his lineage of space warriors. His eyes turn teal, his aura blazes with a golden light and his hair stands on end, marking the birth of the legendary Super Saiyan – a force for justice driven by pure fury, capable of surpassing all known powers in the galaxy.
