Origin and character lore
In the Dragon Ball Z universe, the Cell Juniors are small blue humanoid creatures generated asexually by Perfect Cell during the Cell Games. To force Son Gohan to unleash his pent-up anger and awaken his true power, the Ultimate Android orders his seven offspring to savagely attack the members of the Z-Team. Despite their small size and childlike appearance, the Cell Juniors possess colossal physical strength and boundless cruelty. They share Cell’s genetic makeup and instantly master the signature techniques of the greatest warriors, such as Goku’s Kamehameha or Gohan’s Masenko. Capable of simultaneously overwhelming seasoned fighters such as Vegeta, Trunks and Piccolo, they spread terror across the battlefield until the destructive arrival of Super Saiyan 2.
