Origin and background of the character
Moana is the spirited and daring daughter of the village chief on the island of Motunui, in the heart of the Pacific Ocean. Chosen by the ocean itself to undertake a legendary quest to save her people from a terrible ecological curse, she defies her father’s prohibitions to sail beyond the reef. Accompanied by the shape-shifting demigod Maui, she crosses the seas to restore the heart of the goddess of life, Te Fiti. This beautiful glass container celebrates her adventurous spirit through a vibrant illustration of the princess, framed by a poetic swarm of butterflies and colourful island flowers, perfect for bringing Disney magic into your everyday life.
