DISNEY PRINCESS - Jasmine - Statue Anime Princess 15cm

DISNEY ALADDIN – Jasmine – Anime Princess Scale Figurine, 15 cm

Meet Jasmine, Princess of Agrabah from the Disney classic Aladdin, with this figurine from the Anime Princess Scale collection by Iron Studios. Standing approximately 15 cm tall, this stylised interpretation depicts the princess sitting cross-legged on the Flying Carpet, delicately holding the magic lamp in her hands.

The sculpture retains the key elements of her iconic appearance: her turquoise outfit, her long, tied-back black hair, her tiara and her golden accessories. The Flying Carpet features detailed purple and gold patterns, whilst its position above the plinth gives the impression that it is floating in the air. The circular base is decorated with oriental motifs and finished with a medallion bearing the Aladdin logo.

Made from PVC and carefully painted, this piece embraces an aesthetic reminiscent of Japanese animation whilst retaining the visual style of the Disney character. The attention to detail in the folds of the costume, the arabesques on the carpet and the metallic accents enhance the decorative nature of this statuette, designed for display.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Jasmine is the princess of Agrabah in the Disney animated film Aladdin, released in 1992. As the Sultan’s daughter, she refuses to let her future be decided for her and wants to be able to choose her own path in life. Disney describes her as an independent, determined young woman who is ready to stand up for what she believes is right.

Her encounter with Aladdin, a young man living on the streets of Agrabah, leads her on an adventure involving the sorcerer Jafar, a mysterious lamp and the powerful Genie it contains. The Flying Carpet also becomes one of Aladdin and Jasmine’s companions, particularly during their famous journey over Agrabah.

This Anime Princess Scale figurine brings together several of these symbols in a single composition: Jasmine, the magic lamp and the Flying Carpet. It is not an exact reproduction of a scene from the film, but a decorative interpretation bringing together some of the most recognisable elements from the world of Aladdin.
