Origin and world of the character (Lore)
The character was officially born in 1932 in the animated short Mickey's Revue. Initially introduced as Dippy Dawg, he appeared in the audience as a noisy spectator, annoying those around him with his distinctive bursts of laughter and habit of crunching peanuts. Only later would he be renamed Goofy and join the heart of Mickey's group of friends. This historic version of the collection captures the essence of his early life, celebrating the starting point of the career of this prominent member of the Excellent Eight who has spanned generations for almost a century.
