Taken from *Digimon Adventure*, this Banpresto figurine depicts Agumon, the iconic Digimon partner of Taichi ‘Tai’ Kamiya. This Digivice Figure version combines the small reptilian Digimon with a display directly inspired by the famous Digivice from the series.
Agumon is depicted in a dynamic pose, with his mouth open, arms outstretched and one leg thrust forward. His orange skin, large green eyes and long white claws on his hands and feet faithfully recreate his classic appearance. The figure stands on a stylised reproduction of the orange Digivice, recognisable by its distinctive shape, blue controls and black antenna.
Agumon is a Disciple/Rookie-level Digimon, of the reptile type and with the Vaccine attribute. The official Digimon encyclopaedia describes him as a creature resembling a small bipedal dinosaur, still growing but already possessing a fearless nature. His hands and feet are equipped with hard, sharp claws which he can use in battle.
His signature attack is Baby Flame, known in the West by various names including Pepper Breath, which involves firing a ball or a blast of fire from his mouth. Despite his small size, Agumon possesses considerable evolutionary potential, foreshadowing the much more powerful forms he can attain through his Digivolution.
In *Digimon Adventure*, Agumon is best known as the partner of Taichi Kamiya, one of the DigiDestined. The Digivice plays a vital role in this relationship, as it accompanies the chosen children and, in particular, enables them to trigger or support their partners’ evolutions. This figurine therefore brings together two symbols immediately associated with the early days of the animated franchise: Agumon and the original Digivice.
