Discover Shinobu Kocho in an elegant and dynamic pose with this collectable figurine from Banpresto’s Glitter & Glamours range. Standing approximately 21 cm tall, it depicts the Insect Pillar in a graceful pose, with one leg raised and her hands resting on her Nihirin sword, ready for action.
Shinobu wears the dark uniform of the Demon Slayer Corps, accompanied by her famous white haori featuring patterns reminiscent of a butterfly’s wings. The shades of mint green and pink, the black borders punctuated with light patterns, and the ribbed details of the fabric faithfully reproduce the delicate appearance of this iconic garment.
The figurine also pays particular attention to the character’s distinctive features: her black hair with violet highlights, her butterfly-shaped ornament and her large mauve eyes. Shinobu holds the turquoise hilt of her sword, whilst the light-coloured scabbard remains fastened at her waist. Her ethereal posture and subtle smile convey both her grace and the formidable calm that characterise her.
Shinobu Kocho is one of the Pillars of the Demon Slayer Corps. A specialist in the Insect Breath technique, she compensates for her lack of physical strength when decapitating demons with her exceptional mastery of wisteria-based poisons. Her uniquely shaped sword is designed to inject these substances directly into her opponents’ bodies.
Although always smiling and gentle in appearance, Shinobu harbours a deep anger stemming from the loss of her elder sister, Kanae. An accomplished physician and head of the Butterfly Domain, she tends to wounded Demon Slayers whilst training Kanao Tsuyuri. Her intelligence, speed and scientific approach to combat make her one of the most unique characters in Demon Slayer.
