Discover Kanao Tsuyuri in an elegant and dynamic pose with this collectable figurine from Banpresto’s Glitter & Glamours range. Standing approximately 21 cm tall, it depicts the young demon slayer in a light and fluid pose, ready to draw her Nihon-shin sword.
Kanao wears the dark purple uniform of the Demon Slayer Corps, consisting of a buttoned jacket and a pleated skirt that flows with the movement of her pose. A light-coloured belt accentuates her waist, whilst her high white boots with brown laces provide a striking contrast to the dark tones of her outfit. The large white kanji visible on her back serves as a reminder of her affiliation with the Demon Slayers.
The figurine also pays particular attention to the character’s distinctive features: her large purple eyes, her black hair tied to one side, and her butterfly-shaped ornament in shades of red and green. Kanao holds the white and pink hilt of her sword in her hands, whilst the black scabbard remains fastened to her belt. The overall effect captures her calm and delicate demeanour whilst hinting at imminent action.
Kanao Tsuyuri is a young demon slayer trained at the Butterfly Manor under the tutelage of Kanae and Shinobu Kocho. Having had a difficult childhood, she long struggled to express her emotions and make her own decisions, even going so far as to use a coin to decide how to act.
Thanks to her encounter with Tanjiro Kamado and the bonds she has formed with those around her, Kanao is gradually learning to listen to her feelings and act according to her own will. An excellent fighter, she has mastered the Flower Breathing technique and possesses exceptional eyesight, which allows her to analyse her opponents’ movements with precision.
