Origin and background of the character
The character Marcille originates from the famous culinary fantasy manga *Gloutons et Dragons* (*Delicious in Dungeon* / *Dungeon Meshi*), written and illustrated by Ryoko Kui and adapted into a successful animated series. The plot follows a group of adventurers led by Laios as they explore the depths of an underground labyrinth whilst cooking the local monsters to survive. Marcille is an elite mage highly skilled in academic magic and offensive spells. Rational by nature and easily disgusted, she initially strongly opposes the idea of eating dungeon creatures before eventually succumbing to Senshi’s culinary talents.
This vinyl figurine perfectly captures her characteristic expressions, depicting her with her iconic blonde plaits, blue mage’s robe and magic staff, ready to bring a touch of adventure and fantastical enchantment to the shelves of manga enthusiasts.
