Meet Momo Ayase, the heroine of Dandadan, with this dynamic figurine from FuRyu’s Trio-Try-iT range.
Measuring approximately 21 cm, this figurine depicts Momo in her signature outfit, striking an energetic pose that perfectly captures her determined nature and her central role in the series’ supernatural battles.
FuRyu’s Trio-Try-iT range is based on three key principles: quality, scale and sculpting. The manufacturer prioritises dynamic poses and carefully crafted compositions to highlight the personalities of the characters depicted. This approach suits Momo particularly well, as her battles rely as much on her combative nature as on her impressive psychic powers.
Her schoolgirl uniform, jewellery and hairstyle allow you to instantly recognise her appearance from the anime, whilst the sculpt emphasises the character’s movement and confident demeanour.

Momo Ayase is one of the two central characters in Dandadan. A schoolgirl from a family of mediums, she firmly believes in the existence of ghosts, but initially regards aliens as pure fiction.
Her encounter with Ken Takakura, quickly nicknamed Okarun, sets the whole story in motion. Unlike Momo, he believes in aliens but refuses to believe in spirits. To prove their respective beliefs, the two teenagers decide to visit, separately, places associated with the phenomena they consider impossible.
The experiment quickly turns into a nightmare. Momo is confronted by the Serpo, a race of aliens who abduct her, whilst Okarun encounters the fearsome Turbo Granny. Faced with danger, Momo awakens the psychic powers that had until then lain dormant within her.
Her abilities allow her to manipulate an invisible force, which she manifests notably in the form of gigantic psychic hands. She can thus grasp objects or enemies from a distance, immobilise them, repel them, or intervene in confrontations where physical strength alone would not suffice.
Momo also possesses a keen sensitivity to the spiritual world, a legacy that echoes the abilities of her grandmother, Seiko Ayase, an experienced medium who regularly advises Momo and Okarun on dealing with paranormal phenomena. The official website, in fact, describes Seiko as a particularly powerful medium.
Despite the spectacular nature of her powers, Momo remains, above all, a teenager with a very strong-willed character. Courageous, outspoken and sometimes impulsive, she does not hesitate to face even the most absurd or dangerous situations to protect her loved ones.
Her relationship with Okarun is also one of the central themes of Dandadan. Amidst their battles against yōkai, aliens and other paranormal creatures, a relationship gradually develops, full of awkward moments, rivalry and budding feelings. The official synopsis aptly describes the series as a blend of occult combat and coming-of-age storytelling.
This Trio-Try-iT figurine particularly highlights this side of Momo: an energetic and self-assured heroine, capable of facing the strange with as much determination as humour.
