Origin and character lore
In the dystopian, ultra-technological and ruthless world of Cyberpunk, Lucy is a young woman with a deeply traumatic past. A former test subject, raised in secret by the Arasaka megacorporation to hack into the depths of the ‘Old NET’ behind the Black Wall, she manages to escape and takes refuge in Night City to cover her tracks. Having become an elite, particularly elusive freelance netrunner, she joins the team of edgerunners led by Maine, where she meets the young David Martinez. Behind her cynical and solitary demeanour lies a poetic and obsessive dream: to escape Earth’s oppressive atmosphere by one day flying to the Moon. Wielding her deadly monofilament cables (Monowire) with surgical grace whilst navigating cyberspace, Lucy is the emotional and tragic linchpin of this landmark work of modern science fiction. This collectable statuette celebrates all the rebellious elegance, fragility and absolute class of this essential icon of the cyberpunk genre.
