Origin and character background
Inspired by a shocking news story and loosely adapted for the cinema in the black comedy Cocaine Bear (Crazy Bear), this character depicts an out-of-control American black bear. After accidentally ingesting an astronomical quantity of drugs dropped by drug runners in a Georgian forest, the animal develops a murderous rage and embarks on a memorable rampage. This Pop! figurine captures the film’s macabre humour by depicting the fearsome predator still clutching the leg of one of its unfortunate victims. It is an unusual and daring piece, a must-have for fans of offbeat cinema and pop culture collectors seeking originality.
