Origin and background of the character
The character of Calvin Fischoeder comes from the famous American animated series *Bob’s Burgers*, created by Loren Bouchard in 2011 for Fox. The plot is set in a small American coastal town and follows the chaotic, heart-warming and zany daily life of the Belcher family, who run a neighbourhood burger restaurant. Mr Fischoeder is the eccentric billionaire owner of almost every business on the street, including Bob’s restaurant and the local amusement park, Wonder Wharf. Easily recognisable by his immaculate white suit, his aristocratic cane and his iconic eye patch, he lives by his own absurd set of rules, alternating between capitalist indifference and bursts of amused affection for the Belcher family.
This vinyl figurine perfectly captures his nonchalant demeanour and quirky, chic look, ready to bring a touch of satirical humour and animated nostalgia to collectors’ shelves.
