BLACK CLOVER – POP! Animation No. 2618 – Dante (Devil Form)

Meet Dante Zogratis, one of the members of the fearsome Dark Triad from Black Clover, with this POP! Animation No. 2618 figure from Funko. This version depicts Dante in his Devil Form, when he draws on the power of Lucifero. Standing approximately 13 cm tall, it captures his particularly menacing appearance in the distinctive style of POP! figures.

Dante retains his golden crown, his dark fur-trimmed cape and his Spade Kingdom-themed outfit, but his appearance is profoundly transformed by the use of demonic power. Long black horns emerge from his head, his face is marked with dark patterns, and small demonic wings appear on his back. He also holds a translucent purple energy effect in one hand, directly evoking his formidable gravitational magic.

Character background and lore

Dante Zogratis is one of the members of the Dark Triad, the group that rules the Kingdom of Spade alongside Vanica and Zenon. The official anime depicts him as the eldest of the two and as the host of Lucifero, one of the highest-ranking demons. Dante is characterised by an extremely self-assured personality and an unhealthy fascination with human malice and the suffering of his adversaries.

He naturally possesses Body Magic, which allows him to manipulate his own tissue and regenerate after sustaining extremely serious injuries. His pact with Lucifero also grants him access to Gravity Magic, through which he can alter the gravity around him, crush his opponents or warp space with attacks of considerable power.

As Dante increases the percentage of power borrowed from Lucifero, his appearance becomes increasingly demonic: horns and wings appear, the markings on his face spread, and his body is gradually covered in a dark substance. This transformation is precisely the one featured in POP! No. 2618.

Dante plays a particularly significant role when he attacks the Black Bulls’ lair to capture Yami Sukehiro, whose Dark Magic is essential to the Dark Triad’s plan to open a passage to the demon world. His clash with Yami and then Asta is one of the most striking demonstrations of his Gravity Magic and his ability to regenerate.
