Meet Asta, hero of *Black Clover* and member of the Black Bulls, with this Funko POP! Animation No. 2616 – Asta with Devil Arm figurine. Standing approximately 13 cm tall, this version highlights the evolution of his Anti-Magic powers and his connection to the demonic power contained within his five-leaf grimoire.
Asta is depicted in a combat pose, wielding one of his imposing Anti-Magic swords and displaying his Devil Arm. His spiky hair, his headband bearing the Black Bulls’ emblem and his Knight-Mage outfit immediately reveal the character’s key distinguishing features. This transformation adds a darker dimension to his appearance and illustrates his increasing use of the power linked to his demon.
This figurine is part of the POP! Animation range and features Funko’s characteristic stylised proportions. Its 13 cm size gives it a slightly larger presence than many standard POP! figures and allows the sword and the effects associated with the demonic arm to be shown off to greater effect. It comes in the traditional numbered display box (No. 2616), suitable for display whether unboxed or in the box.
Asta is an orphan raised in the village of Hage alongside Yuno, his childhood friend and main rival. Both share the same goal: to one day become the Mage Emperor of the Kingdom of Clover. However, in a world where almost everyone possesses mana, Asta was born without any magical ability. Yuno, on the other hand, proves to be particularly gifted and is given a rare four-leaf grimoire.
At the Grimoire Ceremony, Asta ends up receiving a mysterious five-leaf grimoire. This allows him to wield swords imbued with Anti-Magic, an energy capable of nullifying any spells it comes into contact with. His complete lack of mana actually enables him to wield these weapons without being affected by their power, whilst his intensive physical training compensates for his limitations in a world dominated by magic.
Asta then joins the Black Bulls, led by Yami Sukehiro. As he fights, he gradually learns that his Anti-Magic is linked to a demon contained within his grimoire. This connection takes on increasing importance when the threat from the Kingdom of Spade forces Asta to deepen his mastery of this power. Nacht trains him specifically so that he can confront his demon and forge a genuine contract with it.
The ‘Asta with Devil Arm’ version of this POP! figure specifically reflects this development: Anti-Magic is no longer simply channelled through his swords, but manifests directly on his body, illustrating the ever-closer bond between Asta and the demonic power that enables him to fight the most powerful opponents.
