Origin and background of the franchise (Lore)

Star Wars is one of the most famous science-fiction sagas in popular culture. Created by George Lucas, this universe made its cinematic debut in 1977 with Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope and has since expanded across numerous films, TV series, novels, comics and video games.

The saga centres on the conflict between the forces of light and the dark side of the Force, set against a backdrop of galactic wars pitting the Jedi, the Sith, the Rebellion, the Empire and numerous factions from vastly different worlds against one another.

Over the decades, characters such as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Yoda and the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO have become true icons of pop culture.

With this Bitty Boxes bundle, Funko brings this monumental universe to life in a miniature format that’s particularly well-suited to collectors wishing to expand their character collections without cluttering up their display space.
