The design features a colour palette dominated by blue, green and electric yellow. Origin and universe of the licence (Lore)
Avengers: Doomsday brings together several major branches of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel Studios has confirmed that the Avengers will cross paths with the Fantastic Four and the X-Men, amongst others. Kevin Feige has described the film as a story literally involving the threat of worlds colliding, which gives full meaning to the slogan ‘Worlds Collide’ used on this poster.
At the centre of this new confrontation is Doctor Doom, one of Marvel’s most iconic villains. Known in the comics as Victor von Doom, he is traditionally associated with Latveria and is one of the Fantastic Four’s main adversaries, whilst having regularly clashed with the Avengers and numerous other heroes.
Grupo Erik’s artwork captures this multiverse dimension by gathering representatives from several Marvel teams around Doom. The poster therefore does more than simply reproduce the film’s logo: its composition directly illustrates the central idea of *Doomsday* – that of different heroes and universes being forced to come together in the face of a common threat.
