From Kotobukiya’s original ARCANADEA range, Lumitea is an angelic-type Dear, presented as an articulated model kit approximately 17 cm tall. The first character released in this series blending science fiction and fantasy, she is based on an original illustration by necömi.
The kit allows Lumitea to be displayed in two distinct configurations. Normal Mode highlights her angelic appearance in a white and blue outfit, whilst Wilize Mode represents her combat configuration, complete with armour elements and large, outstretched wings. These wings feature several joints designed to preserve their organic silhouette whilst offering considerable freedom of movement.
Lumitea is equipped with a sword and scabbard and features a particularly intricate back-mounted attachment system. The magic circle connecting the wings utilises a HEXA G-R.A.M. joint with a 3 mm central connector, compatible with various components from the Hexa Gear range. The arm and knee guards can also be repositioned thanks to the standardised 3 mm connections.
The kit also includes four pre-printed faces, decals to create additional expressions, five sets of PVC hands, and a pair specially designed to recreate a praying pose. Parts are included to display the hair with or without the feather-shaped ornaments, whilst an Engage ring and a display stand complete the set. Finally, neck adaptors allow the use of certain heads from the Frame Arms Girl and Megami Device ranges.

Lumitea is an angelic-type Dear associated with the Light attribute. She introduces herself as an apprentice angel and asks those around her to call her ‘Lumia’. Kotobukiya describes her as a gentle, kind-hearted and naturally calm young girl, yet also very expressive due to her radiant and sincere nature.
As she is still an apprentice, Lumitea has not yet fully mastered the use of her magic. She can also lose some of her composure when faced with something she adores, speaking much more rapidly and revealing a more spontaneous side to her personality.
Lumitea remembers that her mission is to recover the Arcana, but her memories of her past remain partly hazy. Nevertheless, she remains optimistic and believes she can gradually regain her memory by accompanying her Master and confronting the events surrounding the Arcana.
The ARCANADEA universe is set in the near future, where the discovery of an unknown form of energy known as Arcana particles has profoundly transformed society. Following a mysterious event, beings from another world begin to appear in the real world. Those who coexist peacefully with humans are called Dears, whilst some humans become Dear Masters and work alongside them to recover the dangerous Arcana Stones.
The model kit directly reflects this narrative duality: Normal Mode depicts Lumitea in her everyday state, whilst Wilize Mode represents her combat configuration. The ring supplied with the model, meanwhile, refers to the ‘Engage’—the special bond that unites a Dear with its Master and is one of the central concepts of ARCANADEA.
