Relive one of the quirkiest moments from the series *Angel* with this Funko POP! Television No. 1962 figurine, depicting Lorne holding Angel – in his puppet form – in his arms. Directly inspired by the world of Series 5, this design references the memorable episode ‘Smile Time’, in which the vampire is transformed into a puppet during a supernatural investigation.
Standing approximately 10.2 cm tall, the figure depicts Lorne with his green skin, small red horns and distinctive red suit, holding the Angel puppet horizontally in front of him. The contrast between the demon’s colourful appearance and the little fabric Angel gives this POP! a particularly recognisable look.
This edition features a flocked finish, officially confirmed by Funko. Certain surfaces are thus given a soft, velvety coating, which is particularly well-suited to the puppet Angel’s fabric-like appearance.

Character background and lore
Lorne is a demon originally from Pylea, whose real name is Krevlornswath of the Deathwok clan. Unlike the warlike society from which he hails, he developed a passion for music, performance and a much more peaceful existence at a very early age.
After accidentally arriving in Los Angeles, Lorne discovers a culture that is more in keeping with his personality. He founds Caritas, a karaoke bar protected by a spell that prevents violence between its human and demonic patrons.
Lorne possesses a special ability: when someone sings in front of him, he can read their aura and gain insights into their future or destiny. This power makes Caritas a regular haunt for Angel and his allies whenever they need advice.
As the series progresses, Lorne gradually becomes a full-fledged member of Angel’s team. Following the destruction of Caritas, he becomes more directly involved with Angel Investigations and later takes charge of the Entertainment Division at Wolfram & Hart when the team agrees to run the Los Angeles branch.
The Angel puppet featured in this POP! is from the episode ‘Smile Time’, the fourteenth episode of series 5. In this episode, Angel investigates a children’s television programme linked to several mysterious hospitalisations. Upon entering the production studio, he is struck by a supernatural energy that transforms his body into a puppet.
Despite his felt appearance, Angel retains his personality, strength and usual temperament, creating a deliberately comical contrast with his new look. Lorne is one of the team members who witnesses this unlikely transformation and takes part in the investigation.
This POP! Television No. 1962 brings together precisely these two iconic elements of the series: the flamboyant, music-loving demon Lorne and Angel’s transformation into a puppet, all enhanced by a flocked finish that is particularly in keeping with the episode’s theme.
