From Funko’s POP! Basketball / NBA collection, this figurine depicts Tyrese Maxey in his Philadelphia 76ers kit. Listed as number 239, it depicts the point guard/shooting guard in the characteristic POP! figurine style, with an oversized head and a pose inspired by his on-court play. Funko identifies this version as Tyrese Maxey – Black Statement Edition Jersey.
Tyrese Maxey is depicted wearing the 76ers’ black Statement Edition jersey, featuring his number 0 and the word ‘Sixers’ on the chest. Red trim accents the jersey and shorts, whilst white socks and red trainers complete the outfit. The sculpture also reproduces his braided hairstyle and beard.
The figurine strikes a dynamic dribbling pose, with Maxey holding the ball in his left hand whilst moving forward. A transparent support attached to a round base helps to maintain this dynamic pose. Standing approximately 10.2 cm tall, it retains a compact size suitable for a display cabinet, a shelf or a collection dedicated to the Philadelphia 76ers and the NBA. It comes in the traditional illustrated Funko window box.
Tyrese Maxey, born on 4 November 2000, is an American shooting guard/point guard who played for the University of Kentucky. During his sole season with the Wildcats, he averaged 14 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists, and was selected for the All-SEC Second Team as well as the SEC All-Freshman Team.
He was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 21st pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. His rapid progress has enabled him to play an increasingly important role in Philadelphia’s attack, thanks in particular to his speed, his ability to drive to the basket and his outside shooting.
The 2023–2024 season marked a major milestone in his career: Maxey was selected for his first NBA All-Star Game and received the NBA Most Improved Player award in recognition of his progress. He went on to develop into one of the 76ers’ key playmakers and was notably named in the starting line-up for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game. The number 0 and black kit featured on this POP! figure are a direct reference to his sporting identity with the Philadelphia franchise.
