See James ‘Logan’ Howlett without his mask with this Funko POP! Games No. 1396 figurine, inspired by the game *Marvel’s Wolverine* developed by Insomniac Games. Standing approximately 10.4 cm tall, this figure highlights the mutant’s civilian appearance whilst retaining his most recognisable feature: his fearsome claws.
Logan is depicted with a thick brown beard and a large, light-coloured cowboy hat. He wears a dark red and beige checked shirt, blue jeans and brown boots – an outfit that contrasts sharply with the yellow and black Battle Reborn costume of POP! No. 1395. His posture, however, remains ready for battle, with his right fist clenched and the three claws on his left hand extended.
This version thus places greater emphasis on the man behind Wolverine. Insomniac’s game specifically seeks to explore Logan as a brutal and tormented character, capable of extreme violence but also grappling with his past, his relationships and the threat facing mutants.

Character background and lore
James ‘Logan’ Howlett, better known as Wolverine, is a mutant with an extremely powerful healing factor, heightened senses and three retractable claws on each hand. His skeleton and claws have been coated in adamantium, which gives him exceptional strength but is also one of the most significant consequences of the experiments he underwent in his past.
Marvel’s Wolverine offers an original take on the character, developed by Insomniac Games. The game places Logan at the centre of a narrative-driven adventure in which mutants are threatened with eradication. PlayStation describes his journey as a story centred on identity, loyalty and inner conflict, as Wolverine attempts to protect his own whilst confronting the dark corners of his own past.
His story is notably linked to Team X, a former team whose troubled relationship with Logan is explored in the official prequel comic. The game also pits him against Jean Grey, Deathstrike and the organisation known as the Hand, the latter of which shares a history with Wolverine that the player uncovers as the adventure unfolds.
The adventure takes Logan across several regions of the world, including Canada, Japan and Madripoor. Insomniac has opted for gameplay that is more up-close and visceral than that of *Marvel’s Spider-Man* in order to capture Wolverine’s personality: a massive, brutal and direct fighter who can take a beating whilst literally smashing through obstacles and his opponents in his path.
