Origin and backstory of the character
The Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man collection takes comic book fans straight to the heart of Peter Parker’s heroic beginnings and defining moments. Before designing his iconic costumes in collaboration with brilliant minds or using cutting-edge technology, the young high school student from the Marvel universe had to make do with whatever was at hand to conceal his identity. This homemade costume (Home Suit), consisting of a simple red hoodie, a blue top and protective goggles fitted to channel his hyper-developed senses, embodies the very essence of his resourcefulness and iron will. This Funko Pop! figurine captures, with a strong sense of visual nostalgia, the raw and endearing look of this first-ever outfit. It’s an essential, historic addition to complement the Alien Monster set and complete your Spider-Man-themed display.
