UMAMUSUME : PRETTY DERBY - Rice - Figure 14cm

See Rice Shower in a casual, urban outfit with this collectable figurine from Banpresto. Standing approximately 14 cm tall, she depicts the heroine from Umamusume: Pretty Derby kneeling in a gentle, natural pose, with one hand behind her head and her gaze directed forwards.

Rice Shower wears a black beanie from which her long horse’s ears peek out. Her outfit consists of a loose-fitting black T-shirt, a purple pleated skirt with a chequered pattern, and dark lace-up ankle boots. A small silver chain fastened at the waist, several black bracelets and a choker complete her modern look.

The sculpture also highlights her long, dark brown hair, whose wavy locks cascade down her back, as well as her ponytail resting behind her. A small blue rose appears near her right ear, reminiscent of the floral accessory usually associated with the character. Her reserved expression and slight smile perfectly convey her sensitive personality.

Thanks to its compact size and this look, which differs from her usual racing outfit, this figurine is a unique addition to any collection dedicated to Rice Shower and the world of Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

Character background and lore

Rice Shower is an Umamusume studying at Tracen Academy. Shy, reserved and often convinced that she brings misfortune to those around her, she lacks self-confidence despite her remarkable racing abilities. Above all, she aspires to become a racehorse capable of bringing joy to the public rather than disappointing her rivals’ supporters.

Her name and backstory are inspired by the real-life Japanese racehorse Rice Shower. Within the series’ universe, her journey highlights her perseverance, her sensitivity and the efforts she makes to overcome her negative self-image. Her blue rose, her dark colours and her unassuming nature all contribute to her instantly recognisable identity.
