Character background and universe (Lore)
In the vast Transformers universe, Onslaught is the supreme commander of the Combaticons, an elite group of Decepticons specialising in large-scale military operations. Unlike many of his kind who favour brute force, Onslaught is a brilliant analytical mind and a perfectionist who devises battle plans with surgical precision. He far prefers to see his perfect strategies executed from a distance, although he possesses colossal physical strength and devastating fury when forced to join the front line. Linked to the mythological talesof Age of the Primes, he uses his anti-aircraft truck configuration to pound the Autobots’ defensive lines and coordinate his troops. As the central core of the mighty combined robot Bruticus, his iron discipline and tactical genius make him one of the most respected and feared officers in Megatron’s faction.
