TRANSFORMERS ONE – Orion Pax – Studio Series Deluxe Class 12.5 cm action figure

Discover Orion Pax before he became the legendary Optimus Prime with this Transformers Studio Series Deluxe Class transformable figure from Hasbro. Directly inspired by the animated film *Transformers: The Beginning* (*Transformers One*), it recreates the young Cybertronian’s appearance with his red and blue design, distinctive proportions and the mechanical details seen in the feature film.

Measuring approximately 12.5 cm in robot mode, Orion Pax features multiple points of articulation, allowing him to be posed in various positions for play or display. In keeping with the tradition of the Transformers range, the figure can be converted from robot mode to Cybertronian truck mode in 20 steps, offering two distinct configurations in a single collectable item.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Orion Pax is the name given to the figure who would later become Optimus Prime, the iconic leader of the Autobots. In *Transformers: The Beginning*, Orion is still just a lowly robot living beneath the surface of Cybertron. Lacking transformation mechanisms at the start of the story, he does not yet have the ability to transform into a vehicle.

Curious, determined and unwilling to accept the limitations imposed upon him, Orion shares a deep friendship with D-16, the future Megatron. The two Cybertronians initially share the same struggles and grow together, before their discoveries about Cybertron’s history and their radically different visions of its future lead them down opposing paths. 

Orion Pax’s journey ultimately leads him to become Optimus Prime, bearer of the Matrix of Leadership and symbol of the Autobots. This Studio Series figure therefore depicts an earlier stage in his story, when he was still Orion Pax, notably featuring the extraction saw that recalls his former life as a miner on Cybertron.
