This Toy Story money box features Woody, the famous sheriff and one of the main characters in the Disney Pixar animated series. Manufactured by Monogram, it takes the form of a stylised PVC figurine that captures the character’s iconic appearance whilst incorporating a function for storing coins and small change.
Woody is depicted standing, wearing his large brown cowboy hat, his yellow shirt with red checks and his white waistcoat with a cowhide print. His red bandana, golden sheriff’s star, belt, blue trousers and brown boots complete an outfit directly inspired by his appearance in the Toy Story films.
The sculpture features rounded shapes and a smiling expression, giving Woody a decorative look that is easily recognisable. The money box can therefore be used both as a practical item and as a display piece dedicated to the Toy Story universe.

Origin and character background (Lore)
Woody is one of the main characters in *Toy Story*, Pixar’s first feature film released in 1995. This rag-tag cowboy is Andy’s favourite toy and initially holds a position of leadership amongst the toys in his bedroom.
His daily life is turned upside down when Buzz Lightyear arrives as a birthday present. At first, Woody sees this new toy as a rival likely to take his place in Andy’s affections. However, events force them to cooperate, giving rise to a friendship that becomes one of the central themes of the saga.
Woody is characterised by his loyalty to his owner and his strong sense of responsibility towards the other toys. He regularly strives to keep the group united and does not hesitate to take risks to help his friends.
His Wild West sheriff look is directly linked to the fictional world of ‘Woody’s Roundup’, an old children’s TV programme revealed in *Toy Story 2*. Jessie, Stitch and the Prospector also belong to this world.
The piggy bank incorporates Woody’s most iconic features, notably his cowboy hat, his sheriff’s badge, his cow-print waistcoat and his yellow checked shirt, to create an instantly recognisable representation of the character.
