TOY STORY - Sushi Peak-a-Boo Series - Blind Box 6 Figure set 8.9cm

This Beast Kingdom set from the Mini Egg Attack collection contains 6 blind boxes from the Toy Story ‘Sushi Peek-A-Boo’ series. This original collection reimagines several iconic characters from the Disney·Pixar film by pairing them with different types of Japanese sushi, in amusing poses where each character appears to be hiding inside or behind their dish.

The series comprises six standard models: Rex, Buzz Lightyear, Hamm, Woody, Buttercup and Alien. Each character features a different scene inspired by the world of sushi, whilst retaining the characteristic colours and features that make them instantly recognisable. A seventh figure, Bullseye, is the secret variant in the collection.

Made from ABS and PVC, the figurines measure up to approximately 8.9 cm depending on the model. The box contains 6 sealed blind boxes: the character inside each box therefore remains hidden until it is opened, and the inclusion of the secret Bullseye figurine is not guaranteed.

Origin and backstory of the characters (Lore)

Toy Story is set in a world where toys come to life when humans aren’t looking. Woody, Andy’s favourite cowboy, sees his daily life turned upside down by the arrival of Buzz Lightyear, a new toy who is convinced he is a real space ranger. Their initial rivalry gradually develops into a deep friendship.

Throughout the series, Woody and Buzz share their adventures with many other toys. Rex is an anxious Tyrannosaurus rex, Hamm a sarcastic piggy bank, Buttercup a stuffed unicorn, and the Aliens are little green aliens instantly recognisable by their three eyes. Bullseye, meanwhile, is Woody’s faithful horse.

The Sushi Peek-A-Boo series reimagines these characters within an original Japanese culinary theme, transforming them into various sushi-inspired creations whilst retaining the humour and colourful aesthetic characteristic of Toy Story.
