Origin and background of the licence (Lore)

Toy Story is an animated film series created by Pixar Animation Studios, the first film of which was released in 1995. It was the first feature-length film made entirely using computer-generated imagery and is a landmark in the history of animated cinema.

The story is set in a world where toys come to life as soon as humans turn their backs. It centres in particular on Woody, a cloth cowboy long considered Andy’s favourite toy, and Buzz Lightyear, a space ranger action figure who, upon his arrival, is convinced he is a true intergalactic hero.

Throughout the films, Woody, Buzz and their companions embark on numerous adventures centred on friendship, loyalty, the fear of being abandoned and the passage of time. Characters such as Jessie, Rex, Bayonne, Zigzag and Mr Potato Head have also gradually become an integral part of the saga’s universe.

With its blend of humour, adventure and emotion, Toy Story has established itself as one of Disney Pixar’s most iconic franchises. This bed set allows you to bring that world straight into your bedroom décor.
