This Kotobukiya figurine depicts Anna Yanami, one of the main heroines of the anime *Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!*. Crafted on a 1/7 scale, it stands approximately 22.5 cm tall and depicts Anna in a particularly dynamic pose, leaping into the air with a broad smile and both hands forming a victory sign.
The character is wearing her distinctive school uniform, consisting of a white blouse with short sleeves edged in grey, a yellow and blue bow at the collar, and a grey pleated skirt. Her dark blue socks and brown shoes complete the outfit. Her dark blue hair complements the movement of her leap: the strands and the ends of her hair lift naturally, just like her skirt, giving the whole figure a real sense of lightness and energy.
The plinth is also an important part of the display. It combines various colourful geometric shapes, including circles, triangles and quadrilaterals, directly inspired by the aesthetic of the opening sequence of the anime’s first season. These elements surround Anna’s silhouette and lend a highly graphic touch to the display.

Character background and lore
Anna Yanami is one of the main ‘losing heroines’ in Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!. She is a classmate of Kazuhiko Nukumizu and is one of the most popular pupils in her class thanks to her cheerful and sociable nature.
At the start of the story, Anna has harboured feelings for her childhood friend Sosuke Hakamada for many years. However, he falls in love with Karen Himemiya, a new pupil who also becomes Anna’s friend. Kazuhiko accidentally witnesses the moment when Anna realises she has lost this battle for love, making her the first ‘losing heroine’ with whom he finds himself genuinely involved.
The series thus subverts the usual conventions of the romantic comedy by focusing on young women who do not end up with the one they love. Anna nevertheless retains a very expressive, food-loving and energetic personality, alternating between comical moments and more sensitive scenes linked to her unrequited love. This Kotobukiya figurine specifically highlights her bright and exuberant side, depicting her in a pose full of enthusiasm that perfectly matches her temperament in the series.
