Origin and background of the characters
Jerry and Tuffy are two of the most famous, ingenious and mischievous mice in the history of global animation, hailing from the cult Tom & Jerry franchise created by the legendary William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. Whilst Jerry spends most of his time thwarting the house cat’s plans through hilarious and destructive chases, he must regularly look after Tuffy (also known as Nibbles). This orphaned mouse with his iconic grey coat immediately stands out for his insatiable appetite, childlike innocence and unfortunate tendency to cause disasters without realising it, forcing Jerry to redouble his ingenuity to protect him from Tom’s claws.
This 11 cm figurine from the "Big Soft Vinyl" collection perfectly captures the duo’s brotherly bond and mischievousness. The relief sculpting meticulously highlights their expressive silhouettes, Jerry’s big, mischievous eyes and Tuffy’s cheerful face. The care taken with the brown and grey tones and the scrupulous attention to proportions create a wonderfully soft look, essential for bringing a playful, retro atmosphere to your display cabinet.
