Carry an iconic symbol of Hyrule with you every day with this ‘The Legend of Zelda – Triforce’ metal bottle from Pyramid International. Officially licensed by Nintendo, it features a sturdy ‘Chugger’-style design, a dark green finish and gold detailing directly inspired by the mythology of The Legend of Zelda.
The bottle features two different designs. One side bears the great coat of arms of Hyrule, incorporating the Triforce, alongside The Legend of Zelda logo. The other side features a more elaborate circular design centred on the Triforce, surrounded by the symbols of Din, Nayru and Farore – the three goddesses associated respectively with Strength, Wisdom and Courage in Hyrule’s mythology.
The top cap features a built-in carrying handle, which is handy for gripping or carrying the bottle whilst on the move. Measuring approximately 8.5 × 8.5 × 26 cm and weighing 300 g, it is an ideal accessory for the office, for studying or for travelling, whilst clearly showcasing its connection to the Zelda universe.
The Triforce is one of the most important artefacts in the entire The Legend of Zelda saga. According to the official mythology of Hyrule, the world was created by three goddesses: Din, the Goddess of Power, shaped the earth; Nayru, the Goddess of Wisdom, established order; and Farore, the Goddess of Courage, created life. Before leaving the world, they left behind the Triforce, a sacred artefact consisting of three golden triangles.
Its three components embody Strength, Wisdom and Courage. When someone unable to maintain the balance between these three virtues touches the Triforce, it can split into three fragments. Throughout the various eras of the saga, these powers have been associated in particular with Ganondorf for Strength, Zelda for Wisdom and Link for Courage.
The design on this bottle goes beyond a simple depiction of the Triforce: it also features the individual symbols of the three goddesses, arranged around the central artefact. The design thus graphically summarises the story of Hyrule’s creation and the three virtues around which many of the series’ legends revolve.
