Discover Art the Clown in a particularly offbeat take with this Funko POP! Movies No. 2084 ‘Doodles’ figurine, inspired by the horror franchise *Terrifier*. This version reimagines the famous killer clown through a deliberately sketchy and chaotic aesthetic, whilst retaining the key elements of his appearance: black and white costume, little hat and wide, unsettling grin.
The ‘Doodles’ variant stands out distinctly from classic depictions of Art. His face and costume are criss-crossed with red scribbles, whilst his eyes are replaced by large yellow shapes reminiscent of flowers, with a black centre drawn in a sketch-like style. His mouth also features an exaggerated graphic style with jagged teeth, reinforcing the deliberately strange and almost childlike nature of this reinterpretation. It thus plays on the contrast between a colourful, playful visual style and the character’s particularly macabre nature.
Art the Clown is the iconic antagonist of the Terrifier franchise, created by director and screenwriter Damien Leone. The first feature film, *Terrifier*, takes the character – previously featured in the horror anthology *All Hallows’ Eve* – and places him at the centre of a Halloween night during which he pursues several victims. In the film, Art is played by David Howard Thornton.
The character is particularly notable for his lack of dialogue: he communicates mainly through his facial expressions, his theatrical gestures and a deliberately macabre visual humour. His white face, black make-up, monochrome costume and little hat create an instantly recognisable silhouette, which has become one of the saga’s key symbols.
The ‘Doodles’ version does not correspond to any specific appearance from the films. It is a graphic reinterpretation created for the Funko POP! range, in which Art’s traditional appearance is transformed by drawn motifs, red streaks and deliberately whimsical details. This aesthetic accentuates the character’s characteristic contrast between clownish imagery and horror.
